How to Elope in San Francisco!

How to Elope in San Francisco!

  • Before the ceremony, you’ll need to get a marriage license. You can do this at the San Francisco City Hall Clerk’s office - the cost is around $98. You’ll need to bring a valid government - issued photo ID and proof of residency in California.

    Getting Your Marriage License

  • Once you received your marriage license you can now schedule your City Hall civic ceremony. You can book online or by calling (415) 554 - 6079. Ceremony appointments are available Monday - Friday from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. You can bring up to 6 guests, including me (your photographer).

    Scheduling Your Appointment

  • There is a parking garage underground of the courtyard, or you can Uber / Lyft. If we’re traveling to another SF location we’ll most likely drive, ride share or take BART.

    Getting to City Hall

  • Check into the City Hall clerks office 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Your appointment will be conducted by a Commissioner from the Office of the County Clerk. The ceremony is short and sweet with exchanging of your vows and rings and then pronounced partners for life!

    It’s Time for the Ceremony

  • Let’s go explore San Francisco and get swept away. We can pop into a local bar or pop open a favorite wine at one of my favorite places in SF and document your love!

    Time to Celebrate!

If there’s just one thing you should know about me…

It’s that I’m obsessed with San Francisco.

& when we work together, you will be too!
